Brothers marriage preparation - cutting the bamboo

Have i told you that i have good amount of fields and land at my native.My grand parents are rich and so we have good assets in out town.We have even our own bamboo tress and fields. For my brothers marriage i and my other cousin brothers went out and grabbed a Bamboo tree.While cutting the bamboo we should not cross the bamboo its considered unaspecious to do that. It was a beautiful evening when we went in the fields.I took a call and spoke while my brothers were cutting the bamboo.
